ThinLine reins are a nylon base for strength yet flexible, with ThinLine wrapped around for grip and consistency. Rein thickness is 3/4″, yet suitable for those with small hands or arthritis

Amazing Reins

I liked them so much that I ordered a second pair for my other horse's bridle. My leather laced reins, which I had been riding in for years, finally started to cause a painful callous on my left hand. When I realized what was the causing the callous, I immediately started searching for a pair of reins that had both grip and cushion. The Thinline reins have fit the bill. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the cushion they provide. I don't know how it's possible, but they have also improved the connection I feel from the bit. I show Third Level so a steady but soft connection is really important. These reins give me a much softer feel that I know my horse can feel (and appreciate) as well. The reins are working equally well with my First Level horse, too.

The reins are slightly thicker than rubber reins, but the feel they give is much more dynamic than I ever felt with my rubber reins. Once you feel these reins, you'll wonder how you rode without them!
